Allegro Cozumel
Hotel Information: Ideal for families, this casual resort offers guests a wide range of activities and includes many facilities, including a children’s pool, to keep kids busy.
Amenity highlights: Two pools furnish swimming and sunning options, with a third reserved for children. Allegro's large main pool near the beach serves as the center of daylong activities. Behind the Mexican-specialty restaurant, a relaxation pool in the shape of two conjoined circles offers quieter space. Sundecks around both pools are furnished with lounge chairs and thatched-roof palapas for shaded napping and reading. Expansive lawns beside the relaxation pool contain hammocks and an oversized black-and-white chess set.
The beach is of white sand and extends 130 meters (150 yards) across the front of the resort, running as deep as 18 meters (20 yards)—perfect for beach volleyball. Numerous palapas entice in one direction, and the Caribbean's warm, turquoise water attracts in the other. Next to the beach is a popular spa tub for soaking with an ocean view.
Insider tip: When the wide walkway down the resort's center is illuminated at night it offers a romantic stroll to the beach complemented by stars overhead and glittering lights all around.
The majority of amenities, activities, and gratuities at this resort are included in the room rate; guests will not be charged extra for the majority of amenities and activities (scroll up to the All-Inclusive Details section for more information).
